Mounted Prints at Oliounited.com

The Plywerk prints from Olio are now available online! I stopped in to see them on Friday, and they look SO good! The prints are mounted cleanly on bamboo pannels, and covered with a clear gloss laminate that looks like glassy resin. If you get one, you are going to love it. I’m definitely going to be working with Plywerk on future projects. Thanks Olio!

Happy 150th Birthday Portland!!!
I swear you don’t look a day over 149.

Come celebrate Sesquatennial tonight at the Grass Hut from 6-9pm! I will be showing new Oregon-inspired work alongside some of Portland’s own, including Scrappers, Betsy Walton, Ryan Berkley, Emily Counts, Ryan Jacob Smith, Carson Ellis, David Wein and Theo Ellsworth. It’s an overwhelming collection of talent from right here in Portland, and the Grass Hut stands as the perfect hub in the heart of Portland’s amazing and diverse artistic community. For more about the Grass Hut and Sesquatennial, visit grasshutcorp.com.

AND…

Be sure to visit Olio tonight as well (6-8pm) for a First-Friday Art Opening with Betsy Walton, Kim Oahn Nguyen, Joanna Bean and myself. Olio has teamed up with Portland-based company, Plywerk, to bring you art that’s stunning, sustainable and affordable. In fact, Olio represents the best and most-stylish stunning, sustainable and affordable lines from carefully selected designers, many of which hail from right here in Portland! For more on Olio and the show with Plywerk, visit oliounited.com.

I will be attending both events, as well as swinging by Ink & Peat, to check out new work by Jill Bliss. I’d better wear comfy shoes.
